I've been learning a lot about ZBrush lately, and I'm absolutely in love! Character Modeling is brilliant fun, and the limits of this software are up somewhere in the vacuum of space. Here are a few progressive shots of the zombie I've started working on, using the base "male human" prop form and inlaying of a skeleton. Beginning with the base emaciated model.
Playing with extraction and masking methods to create clothing.
Progressing him into zombie crocodilian mode!
Using some base materials to distinguish between his parts now. I extracted out vein-like bits to pull out extra "flesh" for later tearing. He's still a zombie, even if he's turning into a mutant creature. Probably got bitten by a zombie croc! *OMG the tragedy!*
Really working out the base forms on the clothing now, creating pockets and detailing as far as I can without subdividing just yet.
